Trapped ghosts...

posted Jun 05, 2015 12:08:45 by DarrenLamb
This may have already been covered. if so could you share the post with me lol. i'm a massive fan of Ghost Adventures, and i always find it sad when there are ghosts that leave evps like "help me". It irratates me when they say stuff like are you scared of hell, instead of explaining there is nothing to fear about moving on. the only judgment is what you do to yourself. i guess my question is... what happens when a spirit becomes trapped on earth. since they are earth bound does time still feel linear to them? and is there some kind of support on the other side to try and break them out of it? is there anything we can do to help them? and lastly what does their higher self feel when a part of them cant return?

If a spirit is earthbound, they are technically still stuck here on earth, which exists within the 4th dimension, which is time itself. You can get a better idea of how/why that is by reading this post and viewing the interactive graphic at the end of it: http://inmysacredspace.com/understanding-dimensions-densities-and-ascension/

Although those spirits are technically energetically tied to earth, many of them do not appear to have a concept of time passing. Particularly if you look at examples of semi-intelligent hauntings, what appears to upset the spirits and/or confuse them is when their familiar surroundings change (as people redecorate, renovate, move furniture, etc).

Now, there's several possible explanations for that. What people often perceive as being a haunting is most often just a release of stagnant energy - like a power surge. That stagnant energy is caught up in the environment, and when you start to move things, re-arrange, renovate, etc., you're releasing it. You might see some initial activity and then it will dissipate as the energy disperses - unless the people involved begin projecting their own fear onto it, in which case they begin to create their own experiences.

You see this pretty often with people who think they have a poltergeist or some sort of haunting.

Earthbound spirits seem to be in various states of awareness about what has happened to them. I've personally experienced spirits who know they are dead, but they don't want to be and so they haven't crossed over yet. They may be confused about what's going to happen to them, or they are just unable to let go of their physical life.

Yes, there are people and spirits who would appear to round up those latent energies, as your current human understanding would view it.

With regard to your question about how the higher self feels if a part of them can't return - consider this:

All lives - both past, present and future, as well as the infinite number of parallel lives from all of those existences all exist simultaneously. As there is no time in the afterlife, every version of that soul is there, in the afterlife, as well as here, incarnate.

Given the concept of parallel lives, should one version of a person die and not cross over, there will always be one version that does, because for every decision that is made on the earthly plane, it's opposite occurs in a tangental reality.

When you consider this, you begin to understand just how "big" the higher self is.

To suggest that a part of the higher self "can't return" is to suggest that the two were somehow separate to begin with, but we know that nothing is ever truly separate.
